The Wye Fry specialises in producing delicious fast food in front of your eyes. Our service is unparalleled and you will leave with a smile on your face whatever day of the week. Our menu has been specifically designed to accommodate a wide range of diets and so we are certain we have some tasty food for you. It will have you wishing you had saved room for more.

With a large range of culinary skills brewing in the family, Rajesh grew up in the fast-food industry and so his career route was a natural choice.

With the desire to make something of himself, Rajesh obtained a shop in the centre of Lydbrook, UK. The shop specialised in beautiful fresh fish fillets and the most exquisitely cooked chips in the Forest of Dean. Customers started to appear almost instantly and this was the birth of The Wye Fry.

Since 1999, Rajesh has opened a second shop in Birmingham; and to this day, the quality of his foods have remained unsurpassable.

Wherever possible, we use entirely local produce. It's one of the many ways we give back to our community.

Unique

Taking the classic Fish & Chip shop menu, we have added our unique twists straight from Rajesh's family recipe book.

You can expect your meal to be cooked fresh in front of your eyes.

All food comes with our "delicious-guarantee". In the unlikely event that any food is not up to our high-standard, it will be recreated entirely from scratch, no questions asked.

"Incredible experience start to finish. The staff were delightful, the chips were top quality and the portions were ample. As I bit into the first chip, I knew I was in for a delight; the initial crunch followed by the soft interior is a texture that very few culinary establishments are able to so masterfully recreate.

I was served by the charming Isla who, despite barely being tall enough to see over the counter, provided efficient service while remaining friendly and talkative. I truly believe that she deserves a pay rise as she goes above and beyond to please the customers. A special mention also goes out to Raj, who rallies his troops in such a way that no job is left unfinished and no customer is left unhappy. I cannot recommend this place enough; I’ll be sure to return!"
